A new world a new life

Night had fallen when fadded moss green orbs opened up. Sleep fogged the wolfess' mind and she found it hard to move at first. Knowing why she sighed and just laid there, waiting. This thing had happen to her so many times she had lost count in her young life. But think something struck her, this wasnt the closed in white room she had lived in for years. But there was..well she wasnt sure what anything was called.
Finally able to stand, given that she wobbled slightly, she was able to look around.Panic crashed down on her causing her to whimper. This wasnt her home, the cage, the white room, the humans. This place was completely different. strange noises, scents, odd tall thing that touched the sky, soft ground. She took a few steps forwards but more panic was washing over her causing her to move faster and faster til she was sprinting. To where? She had no idea. She wanted her cage, her food bowl, she wanted home.
Then she was forced to come to a stop as she gasped for breath. A low beeping noise reached her ears and she felt a wieght around her neck. She flopped down and clawed at the radio collar around her neck, but it was no use.Humans are good at putting thing on another and making sure it stays.. She thought as she laid there, tired, scared and hungry

Fara was now exploring another part of thease woods. It seemed natural enough. He soon spotted another she wolf, and he backed away slightly. He apraoched the wolf carefully, "Hello?" he asked her slightly worried that the weard thing on her neck might kill him somehow.

Rajani laid there trying to think, how was she to get home..why was she here in the first place?! Then a voice reached her. Eye flew open in alarm, jumping to her paws she spun to face the one who spoke to her.
What she saw was well, she was completely confused! It was like a dog, but pointy ears, larger, more dangerous looking. In the time she was with humans Rajani had no idea what she looked like nor what she really was.
She shivered and lowered her body to the ground, ears back tail tucked. Are...are you with the humans? One of their dogs? I didnt mean to do anything wrong! I dont know how i got here! Please dont hurt me! She whimpered. There had been once when she was oung and her cage not closed all the way, she had gone exploring only to have a guard dog snarling at her.

Fara sat down, "No, I am like you, a Wolf!" he said, "I take it you are one of there experiments. I pity you!" he said sadly, he had heard about humans tracking wolves, he had no doubt they were up in a plane now.

Rajani tilted her head to the side.A...wolf? Her brows pulled together in confusion.He pitied her..why? She still remained t=in the same submissive position.Why would you pity me? They...took care of me...i only got these scars from...an acciedent..with humans i was safe, here i know nothing! She added. Her eyes went up to the sky, were they up there? She didnt hear anything she knew of.

Fara sighed, "Your a wolf, the humans petted you and tamed you! I'm not gonna leave you, you'll die. But if we get seperated, dont go near the deep forest!" he said sternly. He bowed down in a play box, "What does this mean?" he said!

Rajani shook her head in disbelief, A..wolf...hmm... She looked down at her paws then the male and notice the shape was the same.Deep forest? Im guessing thats where this place gets even darker?...Whats a forest? She asked as she sat down, relaxing.
Then she watch as he moved into a position, and at first she though he might pounce on her. She dropped to the ground and rolled onto her back, tail tucked in. But then he didnt lunge at her but stay like that.Ah....uh...thats a.. She rolled onto her stomach then and studied him. She was sure she had done that before, what was it called though?I know you do that when you play....Oh...um...my name is Rajani Andraste... She said as she looked around.

Fara banged his head against a tree, "This is going to take alot of work!" he sighed, "Just tag along with me, and i am sure you will catch up!" he said sadly.

Rajani stood up and walked, or rather more pranced over to him, tail wagging.Im a quick learner....Oh..but sir..what is you name? If im going to stick around someone and trust them..i'd like to know their name. She replied with a smile.
Though Rajani was kept in a lab all the time she was very fit, if not muscular and healthy. Her movements were swift and graceful. The humans had not kept in her a cage all the time, always expersizing and doing fittness training.

Fara smiled, "My name is Fara, what element are you?" he askeed.

Rajani nodded. She then lowered the front half of her body down, left leg tucked underneath while the right was stretched out.It is a pleasure to meet you Fara. Then she stood straight up again and sat down, tail curled around her. Element..oh yes im fire. That one thing the humans were so interested in.

Fara sighed, "Your kidding right, what kind of things did they do?" he asked her slightly worried.

Rajani looked at him for a long moment.No..i wouldnt joke. They were good to me..given that i knew them since i was a pup. But they would train me..not like their guard dogs though. I'd go running on these things with moving floors. They would put these things on me i guess to keep an eye on my heart and all. I got check ups, weekly grooms. But once they tired to make my angry so i'd use my fire but it didnt work. So they decided if they made me happy enough i'd do what they want. And so i did..they wanted fire, i'd show them. It wasnt that bad..only that the food wasnt great but i got used to it. She explained as she closed her eyes.

Fara sighed, "So now your here, and they are finding other elemental wolves. We have to get that things off you!" he said leaping onto her and tuggging ruffly at the thing around her neck, trying to break it, or smash it.

Rajani looked at him as he spoke and suddenly he lunge at her. She yelp and fell onto her back. A natural instinct kicked in and she wiggled. A deep rumble of a growl erupted from her chest, her front paws pushed against him as her back paws kicked out at him.Her lips pulled back,Get off! She snarled feircely.

Fara went flying, "All the wolves here are in grave danger with you wearing that!" he said after landing roughly.

Rajani jumped to her paws, fur bristling as Fara went flying. She stood there with a silent snarl as he spoke again.Well i know a better way then just lunging at me! She snapped but she soon relaxed and looked about.
She walked around looking for something sharp, finding a rather sharp broken tree limb she laid next to it. She pawed in a few times before rolling into it and rubbing her neck roughly against it. She closed her eyes tight and winced slightly. But surely and slowly the leather was breaking.This will get it off, the human use poor material that comes off with anything sharp rubbing it..trust me..

Fara nodded, "Just don't hurt yourself!" he said worried.

Rajani snorted in reply to what he said. If it was true that the radio collar would put others of their kind in trouble then pain was worth it.She took one front paw to claw one side while still rubbing the other side on the branch.
Time was passing, and it seemed the collar wasnt lossening any more. Rajani growled in a low tone. Standing up and stepped down on the branch.I need help holding this branch down.. She looked at Fara before lowering her head and hooking the branch between her neck and the collar. A few rough tugs should do it, or so she hoped.

Fara nodded, "Just don't hurt yourself" then he padded over to hold it down.

Rajani took a deep breath right before she gave a sharp jerk of her head upwards. She felt the collar strain and quickly lowered her head to do it again and again. By the fifth try she gave her best tug ever and was sent tumble to the ground in a ball of fur.
The collar went flying in the air, Rajani's neck had cut in it the bleed but it wasnt much. She stood up, panting, looking at fara.There..now to bury it.. She said breathlessly. She trotted over to the collar, picked it up and began to dig like a mad animal.
Once done the hole was very deep, if Rajani put her paw it, her leg would disappeare!She dropped the collar in and began the process of puting the dirt back over it and stomping on it.There..no one will find it. She said as she laid down.

Fara was sure it would have been better to just dung it in the river, but he knew Rajani had gone to the effort of berrying it, he inspected the wound slightly, it seemed okay. "Humans are behind you now, its time to be a wolf!" he said, knowin ghe would die if his freedom was taken away.

Rajani looked up at him, tail wagging as she smiled, but then it fadded.Will i ever be able to be a true wolf? I know nothing but human things...She said in a small voie as she laid her head down.

Fara sighed, "Its worth trying, I don't see the harm, or a barrier that would stop you!" he said, wondering how a wolf, could forget to be a wolf. "As I said tag along with me!" he said as he turned to cross the stream.

Rajani sighed softly and got to her paws. She trotted after Fara, but paused when they got to the stream. She looked at him, the water, him and back again.Then carefully she edged towards the stream and leaned over it to look at herself.
There in the water was a creature with mossy green eyes, black fur with dark grey and white, and one scar by her eye. She tilted her head to the side and so did the blurry creature in the water. She studied her reflection, it was something she had never done before. She noticed how her eyes were the same shape as Fara's, her muzzle, ears..her shape was the same as Fara's just different colors.This..is..who i am...i wolf.. She whispered more to herself.
