Earth and Air in the Sea.

Halas finished his meal with great satisfaction, rabbit's thrived in tease dunes, and it wouldn't hurt to eat one, he had checked with the Earth, this one came out, because it was ready to go. Halas loved his earth Element if made him feel in tune with the Island that he had grown to love over the past week, he had not smelt another wolf yet, and realized that a wolf hadn't seen him, as his coat blended in so well with the scenery.

Halas rose to his young paws, and watched them change to adapt to the land, he flashed the ocean a cheesy smile, he had survived all that they had thrown at him as he came here. He suddenly felt very lonely, and upset that he was all alone. He threw back his head in a sad cry and let loose. "I am lonely, are there any other wolves out there?" He howled, knowing he was on top of a dune, meant that his howl traveled further!

Coaldust tortted, looking around at the scenery around her. Wow. It is vast here. she thought in wonder. Sudddenly she heard the howl of another wolf. She raced toward the sound. She found a male wolf on top of a hill. "Hi there. My name is Coaldust. What's yours?"she asked him.

Aaren carefully threaded on these dunes, and was not very satisfied with it. All the grass insisted in getting between her toes and her neck was begging to throb of turning back so many times to clean her paws. Her ears were a little low, she had to cross this place, for her body and mind told her to move further. And as she stopped once more to clean her pads, she understood why. A howl rang in her ears, and she became curious. Even so, she moved silently and carefully. Hiding from behind a dune, she peeked and came across two other wolves. A female and a male. The female quicky introduced herself as Coaldust, and Aaren understood that they were not banned elemental wolves, so it was a bit safer. She came out of her hiding.

Coaldust jumped at the sound of the females voice. "Hello. And who might you be?"the young air wolf asked the unknown female.

She smiled.

"I'm Aaren, Aaren LuckStone"

Her tail began to slowly wag, and her tongue stuck out a bit, to quickly get back in.

"Nice to meet you"
Her eyes turned to the wolf that was on the top of the dune, and she admired him. The first male she had seen in a while. Her old pack was mostly females, and she had left for a while already. And a female that seemed very nice! This was off to a good start!

"Halas Jelay at your service"
He said with a smile, but he soon leapt out of his skin, at another female wolf who showed up. He raised his eyebrows at her, acting as if he hadn't scared her, but before he could respond, the first female adressed herself as Coaldust, nice name. The other female soon introduced herself as Aaren LuckStone, interesting name, Aaren....

He lifted his front left paw up, then put it down, then lifted his front right paw before placing it down, they were both green, his elemental earth color. He bent down and nudged Coaldust's paw just enough to see that she was Air Element, he smiled she had pretty fur, he then moved on and sniffed Aaren's paw, Earth, another Earth, her coat was white like the snow and he realized that that may have been were she was born, but of course he didn't know.

He raised his head and spoke again, "I am earth also Aaren, by your coat I guess that you were born in the North?" He turned to Coaldust, "Air i belive, Its amazing how free the Air Element can be, that was my seccond choice!" He said truthfully.

Aaren carefully watched as the male tapped both female's paws. He was looking for our element. CoalDust was Air, and the male Earth like her. She liked Air a lot, in fact, she loved all elements, but she had to pick one, and she chose Earth. Because she loved the forest, the mountains, the snow, the trees, the grass, the flowers, everything. A smile spread across her snout, and she hastily asnwered Halas' question

"Yes, I was born in the Snow Tops, you are very good."

Smiling, Aaren then nooded at Halas' statement towards CoalDust.

"Indeed. I love all elements, I truly do, but I chose Earth. Like Halas."

[Wolf-Tracks]

Halas smiled at Aaren, she seemed nice. He stretched in relif that he had found company, it was better then being alone. He perked his head up and realized that he could see were the dunes met the sea. He pointed too it with his paw and talked to the females, "Water for the Water Element, Ground for the Earth, Wind for the Air and Shrub for the Fire, its a multi territory land!" he said smiling.

Aaren laughed

"Indeed it is! I hadn't noticed yet. I was just passing by."

She would regret it, but she dared to sit down. Curling her tail around her, raising her head to show her gold, sparkly eyes that glistened in the sunlight. Not so sure of what to say, she awaited for another to speak.

Halas smiled at Aaren, it would be lieing to tell himself that he wasn't slowly falling for her, but then again, what wolf wouldn't. He admired her sparkling eyes for several minutes before realizing he was starting. He jumped slightly and scratched the back of his head as best as he could with his paws, but it wasn't easy, he sighed deeply in thought before mentioning The Grass, "Its very grassy around here, sort of prickly, If you don't mind i will use the Earth Element to make the grass softer were i tread, i can make it that for you too if you wish, but of course you can do that without my help also!" he said starting hard at the ground, before the area turned soft, he padded away a few paces, and the soft ground followed him, he turned and sat were he had done moments before.

Coaldust smiled. "So you two are both Earth. I hope we will get along."she said happily.

Halas semi turned his head, but kept his eyes on Aaren, "Ye..Yeah I am sure we will" he said, still focusing on how beuitful Aaren was, "A very special earth element" he mutterd blancly, without thinking, before adding, again alsmost a whisper, "A very speical, beuitful, amazing earth element wolf...." he said blancly still deep into Aaren's eyes.

(Tryin' to do some muse killing, please note Halas has still not noticed that he said that)

Coaldust blinked. What th- Is this wolf ok? She wondered. "Halas? Halas! are you ok?"she asked the dazed wolf. "Because you don't seem like you are."she spoke again.

Aaren watched as Halas used his earth element and threaded away. She once again smiled at CoalDust's statement and tilted her head at Halas' reply, not hearing the whispers very well.

"It's nice you use your element to feel more confortable. I, however, do not use it very often. I like to leave things as they are, and I'll adjust to them."

She said, looking innocently at Halas. She got up and faced the reason why she didn't want to sit. The grass had mixed with her fur and it took her quite the effort to shake it off. When finally the task was done, she asked CoalDust

"Can you please show me what Air can do? Please?"

Halas jumped at Coaldust's statement, "I was just thinking about Aar..." he trailed off, "Stuff" he was now uncomfortable, and he noticed that Aaren hadn't heard, he didn't want her to find out like that, after all they had only just met, but Halas found himself falling for her deeply, and again he found himself admiring her, "Your eyes are really beautiful!" he blurted out, now he was more uncomfortable, but it was hard not to feel the pressure after just letting loose one of this private thoughts.

Coaldust laughed and rolled on the ground. Those two were so funny. "You two crack me up!"she chuckled. She smiled. Looks like somebody has a crush.she thought.

Aaren's pupils shrank a little in surprise after Halas' compliment and CoalDust suddenly rolling on the floor laughing. She was very confused, she didn't knew why she was laughing, but giggled along.

"Thank you very much!" She said to Halas "That was very nice of you!"

To CoalDust she smiled, giggled and watched her laughing. If there was one thing she enjoyed the most, was seeing creatures happy.

Halas, realizing that Aaren didn't mind, and that Coaldust found it funny, decided to continue, as it didn't seem to be doing any harm. "What male in there right mind couldn't compliment you" he said to Aaren, before turning to Coaldust, "Why do we make you crack up?" He asked innocently, he knew why, but he was hoping Coaldust could say it aloud and shed some light on the fact that Halas was crushing on Aaren, and so Aaren might realize that, it would help when Halas confessed his feelings.

Aaren blinked at Halas, and began to wag her tail. She adjusted her paws to the terrain, and smiled.
He was very nice. She wondered why there weren't any more wolves like him.
The sun was now begining to bother her. Her head was very hot.

"Um, excuse me, but can we please go somewhere with shade? The sun is very hot now..."

[Wolf-Tracks]

Halas smiled and rubbed his head against her neck, to gather some of her scent before walking down one of the sand dunes, he walked along the bottom, flicking his tail to encourage them to follow. He wagged it slightly as he walked into an overhang, shelterd, shady and spacey he settled down and looked down at the ground next to him, moving his eyes upwards, looking at Aaren expectantly.

Coal shook her head and snorted. Love sick puppy.she thought as she rolled her eyes. She followed Halas and Aaren. She looked at the area Halas had found. She nodded in approval. "Very nice."she said apprecativly.

The male brushed in her, probably to retain something to keep track of her, and paced away.
Aaren followed the two wolves, and grinned at the nice clearing Halas found.

"Very nice indeed!"

She stretched when she arrived, but never got up from it, she dropped gently to the side and began rolling in the shade, finally ending on her back, just a little dirty.

Enjoying the moment, the white wolf closed her eyes momentarily to enjoy the short gush of wind that entered in the clearing. When it was gone, she lazily got up. Then, Aaren remembered:

"CoalDust, isn't Air your element? That must have felt nice."
Quickly glancing to Halas, she turned her attention to the other female, that hadn't really said anything about herself yet.

Halas rose to his paws, "I will return in a bit" he said, before sprinting out of the den, he ran to the beach, killed 3 fish, brought them ashore, chased off a coyote before returning an hour later, he placed the first fish down by Coal, and then scratched out a pathetic heart on the second fish, and placed it by Aaren, he then padded back to were he was, and eat his own, keeping a watchful eye on Aaren.

Coal shrugged. "I guess."she siad in a bored tone. She was seriously bored.

Aaren nodded, and while he didn't come back, she entertained herself with chasing a butterfly. She was in her final leap to catch it, when Halas finally came, and brought fish! Kindly, he gave one to CoalDust, another to her, and went to eat his own.
When she approached her snout closer to take a bite, she noticed a carver figure in it. She looked closer. It seemed a heart. Once again, she blinked and looked over at Halas, not so discretly. The, she took a bite and thought

[i]'Must be my imagination. I can be so selfish sometimes. Thinking it is all about me...'

She was slightly hungry, so she ate avidly. When she was finished, Aaren got up and brushed Halas side.

"Thanks for the food!"
